Session Description:
Intentional and mindful activities can benefit aging persons, including persons who live with cognitive and behavioral challenges. Activity professionals are essential in the integration of mindfulness activities, which can promote increased range of motion, greater focus and connection, and improved sense of self. This workshop will explore research on mindfulness techniques and ways to integrate them into activity programming.
