Course Description: This session provides a focused review of functional status Quality Measures with emphasis on ADL coding accuracy and its impact on quality outcomes, Five-Star ratings, and reimbursement. Participants will examine how functional decline and improvement measures are calculated, common MDS coding pitfalls, and the role of interdisciplinary documentation in supporting accurate reporting. Practical strategies will be shared to help facilities strengthen functional outcomes while maintaining compliance.
