DON Playbook Webinar Series: The Daily DON: Organizing Your Time, Tasks, and Team

Target Audience: Nursing Leadership staff (DON, ADON, Unit Managers, Nursing Supervisors)

Speaker: Janine Lehman, RN, RAC-CT, CLNC

Course Description: This session focuses on organization and time management for serving effectively as the Director of Nursing, with an emphasis on effective leadership, and staff engagement. There will be an overview of daily responsibilities and expectations, and an examination of successful strategies for delegation of nursing department duties that represent a day in the life of an effective DON.

The NAB CE Registry is the first of its kind and will be free of charge to long term care licensees. This system will enable you to track both CE approved by NAB’s National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) and non NCERS approved CE. Once your license is due, you simply release your registry to your state board/Agencies(s) electronically. Signing up for a registry is easy. Nurses who are logged onto the webinar for the full amount of time will receive 1 hour through the Kentucky State Board of Nursing. You must complete the survey at the end of the webinar and type a digital signature to receive credit. Please note SCHCA has no control over the requirements and will not be able to retroactively assist you if you do not complete the requirements.
