Course Description: Facilities are now a year into implementation of the 4/28/25 CMS Appendix PP Regulatory Revisions. This session will assist the Nursing Leader to verify that they have all of the required components in place to address discharge regulations pertaining to residents who leave Against Medical Advice (AMA). Emphasis will be placed on assessments for AMA risk, communication of AMA events, and essential documentation to support facility compliance with the 2025 regulatory revisions.
