SUMMARY OF ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR POSITION
Easley Place is seeking an experienced, compassionate, detail-oriented, knowledgeable and organized Assistant Executive Director. We strive to provide care to our residents that exceeds industry standards and we are looking for an Assistant Executive Director that wants to join that mission!
The Assistant Executive Director is responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the Assisted Living Facility, for achieving and maintaining rental of the facility to capacity, for achieving high resident satisfaction and quality resident care/services, for ensuring compliance with applicable State and Federal requirements, for generating respect in the community for the facility, for ensuring smooth operation of the facility, for the daily functioning of the health care needs of the residents in the Community, including assessments and service plans on each resident, supervising the resident assistants, supervising the medication delivery system, training of new staff, and in servicing needs of existing staff.
Assist the Executive Director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and directing the day-to-day functions of the facility, its programs and activities.
Assume the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability of directing the activities and programs of the facility.
To ensure the delivery of quality care and services and ensure positive resident relations by responding promptly and appropriately to resident needs, requests, concerns, etc.
Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies.
To promote and maintain positive relations with residents and their families, providing the necessary Administrator/resident contact including, but not limited to, service plans and dining room interaction while addressing resident concerns appropriately.
Review resident complaints and grievances and make written reports of action taken. Discuss such actions with resident and family as appropriate.
A Bachelor’s Degree – required, Master’s Degree preferred.
South Carolina Assisted Living license required
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator License preferred.
Minimum of three (3) consecutive years of experience as an Administrator within Healthcare with proven results.
Experience in Assisted Living and/or Multi level care facilities preferred.
