2025 Silver Quality Award Workshop

This Program is to be held via Swoogo on August 9, 16, 23, 30

SCHCA, in partnership with HCAM and several state affiliates, presents a Silver Quality Award virtual workshop series to help you better understand the Silver Award application criteria, scoring, and strategies for a successful 2025 application submission. This workshop series will help you better understand how to complete the application from beginning to end with coaching support along the way from our expert trainer, Cathy Bergland.

VIRTUAL EVENT

This workshop will be held virtually on Swoogo over the following dates:

• Session 1: August 9 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm (ET)
• Session 2: August 16 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm (ET)
• Session 3: August 23 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm (ET)
• Session 4: August 30 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm (ET)

Additionally, optional office hours will be held August 27, November 19 and January 7 from 3:30 – 4:30 pm (ET)

SPEAKERS

Our Speaker this year is Cathy Bergland. Cathy is the lead consultant for CB Leadership Group, an organization focused on Leadership Development, Intercultural Competence, and Performance Excellence. Cathy has more than 35 years of experience in older adult services, serving at Presbyterian Homes & Services in various facility and corporate based functions. She also has 15 years of experience with the Performance Excellence Criteria with both the state of Minnesota and AHCA/NCAL, where she is a Board member, Judge, Trainer, and Examiner.
