Course Description: This session provides a foundational overview of the CMS 5-Star Quality Rating System, with a deep dive into the Health Inspection domain. Attendees will learn how the overall rating is calculated, how survey outcomes impact star performance, and how to leverage survey cycle data to guide improvement. Practical tips for managing survey readiness, identifying risk areas, and implementing targeted QAPI strategies will be emphasized.

The NAB CE Registry is the first of its kind and will be free of charge to long term care licensees. This system will enable you to track both CE approved by NAB’s National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) and non NCERS approved CE.
