DON Playbook Webinar Series: Leadership Lessons: Coaching, Accountability, and Building Strong Teams

Target Audience: Nursing Leadership staff (DON, ADON, Unit Managers, Nursing Supervisors)

Speaker: Janine Lehman, RN, RAC-CT, CLNC

Course Description: Leadership is not what you do to people, it is what you do with people. This session will focus on critical leadership lessons for how to be successful in coaching staff, holding staff accountable, and building strong teams that effectively achieve facility goals and focus on the facility mission. Strategies for effective team meetings will be discussed as well as examples of team building exercises that can be fun as well as educational.

Please note, for administrators, you will need to sign up for a NAB CE Registry Number

The NAB CE Registry is the first of its kind and will be free of charge to long term care licensees. This system will enable you to track both CE approved by NAB’s National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) and non NCERS approved CE. Once your license is due, you simply release your registry to your state board/Agencies(s) electronically. Signing up for a registry is easy. Nurses who are logged onto the webinar for the full amount of time will receive 1 hour through the Kentucky State Board of Nursing. You must complete the survey at the end of the webinar and type a digital signature to receive credit. Please note SCHCA has no control over the requirements and will not be able to retroactively assist you if you do not complete the requirements.
