Course Description: Adverse events in Nursing Facilities can significantly impact resident safety, staff performance, and quality meaures. This presentation will provide attendees with practical strategies to prevent adverse events and optimize care delivery. Participants will gain insight into common types of adverse events, including falls, medication errors, infections, and pressure ulcers, and their impact on quality metrics. The presentation will cover best practices, tools, and collaborative approaches to identify risk factors, implement prevention strategies, and promote a culture of safety.
