Wound Management – Beyond Skin Deep Webinar Series Overview Flyer

Course Description: Wounds in Long Term Care continue to present assessment, treatment and documentation challenges for the nursing team. This webinar series is designed to equip healthcare professionals with the essential knowledge and skills needed for implementing a comprehensive and effective wound care management system. Participants will be prepared to meet the CMS wound related requirements in the areas of assessment, MDS coding, CAA and care plan development, as well as prevention and treatment of pressure associated wounds. This first presentation will enhance the participants grasp of skin and wound assessment basics, as well as providing insight into common assessment pitfalls that can result in survey deficiencies and potential litigation.
