What To Expect Each Month on Cultivating LTC Leaders: Topics in Regulatory, Legal and Compliance Management

Course Description:  This session reviews key SNF/Long Term Care Industry Lawsuits, False Claims Act Activity and settlements from 2021 with discussion on the implications for compliance and risk management. Actual Case studies in regulatory, legal, and allegations of fraud and abuse will be discussed. New and seasoned leaders will gain insight into current risks and potential mitigation strategies with skills developed in identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities.

• The NAB CE Registry is the first of its kind and will be free of charge to long term care licensees. This system will enable you to track both CE approved by NAB’s National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) and non NCERS approved CE. Once your license is due, you simply release your registry to your state board/Agencies(s) electronically. Signing up for a registry is easy. Individuals can simply visit https://www.nabweb.org/ceregistry
  • If you do not currently have a NAB user account (which is different from your exam account) you will need to choose “Not a Member? Sign Up!” Once you are signed up for a NAB account, you will have access to your CE registry.

Please note, for Nurses who are trying to receive hours

• Nurses  who are logged onto the webinar for the full amount of time will receive 1 hour through the Kentucky State Board of Nursing. You must complete the survey at the end of the webinar and type a digital signature to receive credit. Please note SCHCA has no control over the requirements and will not be able to retroactively assist you if you do not complete the requirements.
