Speaker: Kris Mastrangelo, OTR/L, LNHA, MBA, with Harmony Healthcare International

• This session will overview the changes outlined in the CMS Requirements for Medicare and Medicaid Participation which dramatically reforms the regulations for long-term care facilities. The speaker will focus on Phase III Regulations, with special attention to Behavioral Health, Trauma Informed Care, QAPI, and Training Requirements.

• This session will focus on COVID-19 Pandemic in South Carolina Nursing Homes

• This session will focus on current issues/legislation in South Carolina and the impact it may have on the Long-Term Care Industry.

1:00 PM – 4:00 PM          “DHEC Round Up”

• This session will focus on current trends in deficiences identified during surveys in both SNFs and ALFs. In addition, attendees will gain knowledge related to the joining of BHFL and Certification and the survey process.
