The South Carolina Health Care Association (SCHCA) was established as a trade association in 1955. With approximately 150 nursing facilities and 120 associate member companies, SCHCA is South Carolina's largest and oldest association of nursing homes. Membership includes nursing homes and companies who supply goods and services to the facilities.
SCHCA is a state affiliate of the American Health Care Association, and as such, participates in national healh care events and forums.
SCHCA provides its members with educational programs, legislative services and government services.
